About the Valatie Community Theatre
Our Mission
The mission of the Valatie Community Theatre is to create and maintain a vibrant and welcoming performance space in the historic Valatie Theatre, ensuring our productions and performances remain inclusive and affordable. We strive to bring neighbors together, to build connections, instill a love and appreciation of the performance arts, and enrich the lives of our growing community of performers and audiences
Our Historic Theater
The Valatie Community Theatre is owned by the Village of Valatie and run by a totally volunteer Board of Directors. We pay theatre professionals (Directors and Music Directors) and other performers, but we don’t have paid staff. We keep our ticket prices low and try to find a place in our theatrical productions for anyone who wants to participate. We are the only area youth theatre program that doesn’t charge participants. Become a member, a donor, or a volunteer. Come to our shows. We thank you deeply for you continued support.
